We LOVE to celebrate with our friends and families but we rarely get the chance because we are so busy talking shop and doing the do. We decided it was high time to tune into fun and connection that’s just about us AND get to do some good for SENStory HQ!

We are opening the doors thanks to our friends at Old Down Country Manor who have sponsored the space for a night of celebration and connection. You’ll get to mingle and chat with like minded businesses and amazing humans who have aligned messaging and values. Some of you may be looking to come along solo or with a small group of friends or family and for others this could be a perfect opportunity to get a table for a brilliant team night out!

Who Are We?

SENStory HQ CIC is our not for profit organisation supporting children and young people with additional needs, their families and providers to access life-changing therapy, leisure and learning, through Equine Facilitated and Nature Based Learning in the beauty of the great outdoors.

We also help parents and carers to navigate the SEN system, to overcome the challenges, red tape and endless pathways when pursuing a diagnosis and finding support, and we want to rewrite the SEN narrative so it's one that's rooted in equity, fun and accessibility for all. Right now, we need your support more than ever to help as many children with additional needs and their families access vital therapy and support. Waiting lists for physiotherapy and specialist support via the NHS and in the private sector are growing longer, year by year. We want to help as many children as we possibly can to access life-changing provision in a non-clinical, welcoming, child-friendly space that encourages them to thrive!

How? We want to secure our SENStory HQ site for the next 12 months by fundraising to cover our lease for a year. We put so much work into maintaining nd developing the site at SENStory HQ. It's a pretty magical a space where our families can access essential physiotherapy, and learning in an amazing setting. 2024 has seen the launch of our curriculum programmes that now serve children and young people from over 5 counties in the South West.

Securing our space for another year will mean the therapy and learning it offers is accessible for more children at a subsidised rate, including those with limited mobility or physical disabilities. We also make it REALLY good fun (and that's what we're all about at SENStory HQ CIC!) To make our dream possible, we're aiming to raise £10,800 to help us secure our site for another year. It's a BIG ask but that's why we're asking for your help!

We know that calculating the joy our young people feel when they're a part of the SENStory family is pretty immeasurable but if you could count smiles, laughter, happy tears from progress and relief from parents and carers, then the answer would be huge. We want to give as many families as we can the opportunity to help their children thrive - your support allows us to reach more people and offer more services by expanding our capacity for young people.
